I have three long-term and two recent strands of research. The established strands relate to: (a) the global governance of education; (b) education policy, politics, and political economy, and (c) democratic and socially-just alternatives to dominant education models. The two more recent strands of research relate to: (d) education systems analysis, with a focus on conflict-affected contexts and (e) post-/decolonial perspectives on global governance and global education policy.
